What is a hosted business phone system?+
A hosted (cloud) business phone system runs your calling through the internet instead of legacy phone lines or an on-premise PBX cabinet. Handsets connect over your network, and call routing, voicemail, and auto-attendants are managed in the cloud. InstallPros handles the on-site cabling, handset setup, and turn-up so the system works from day one.
Do you sell the monthly phone service or just install?+
InstallPros is the installation and turn-up partner. We handle cabling, handset provisioning, network setup, and on-site testing. The monthly phone service and seats are billed by the cloud provider of your choice. We coordinate with your provider so the install lines up cleanly with your service activation.
Can you replace an old office phone system?+
Yes. We regularly swap aging key systems, legacy PBX cabinets, and analog lines for a hosted cloud phone setup. We inventory your existing cabling and handsets, plan the cut-over, mount and provision the new phones, and test every extension before handoff so there is minimal downtime.
Do users get desk phones and a mobile app?+
Most hosted phone platforms support both desk phones and a mobile app on the same extension, so staff can take calls at their desk or on the go. InstallPros provisions the desk handsets on site and confirms each user is reachable on both. We do not lock you to a specific brand.
We have multiple locations. Can you install across all of them?+
Yes. InstallPros runs multi-site rollouts with a coordinated schedule so every office turns up in the right order. We handle site-by-site cabling, handset provisioning, and testing, and hand off a single consistent setup across locations.
How long does installation take?+
A single small office is often a same-day or next-day install after the survey. Multi-site rollouts are scheduled location by location. The biggest variable is cabling readiness, which we confirm during the virtual site survey before quoting.
Do you need new cabling?+
Not always. If your building has usable Cat5e/Cat6 runs and enough PoE switch ports, we reuse what is there. If runs are missing, damaged, or not long enough, we pull new cable and add PoE as part of the install quote. We tell you what is reusable before work begins.
How do quotes work?+
Every job is scoped first. We run a virtual site survey (address, photos, cabling notes), then send a fixed written quote covering cabling, handsets, mounting, and on-site turn-up. No surprise fees after you approve. Monthly phone service from your provider is separate from the install.
